We decided to go to TX to get out of the icky winter and visit with family. We were nervous for the trip down and back as this was going to be Carmella's first plane ride. We packed everything we could possibly need to entertain her on the plane and booked our tickets around her bedtime. Well, all I have to say, is that she takes after her Daddy! She is an excellent traveler and fell asleep fifteen minutes into the plane ride on the way down and back! We had nothing to worry about:)
The trip was great! Mom and Dad got good quality baby time, A. Lois watched Carmella while Dan and I worked and we just enjoyed the nice weather and visiting with family. We went to Megan's baby shower which was beautiful and we're very excited for Harper's arrival so Carmella will have someone to play with when we visit:) We also had a chance to go to dinner with Charlie and Becky which was nice!
