We were in Cleveland visiting Mom and Dad Roehl when we were sure we heard Carmella's first words....DaDa! Now, I'm pretty sure she has no idea that she was referring to Dan, but it was fun anyways! That was on the 12th. Since then (and we're now visiting Mom and Dad Sisky), she has made her Mommy happy by also verbalizing MaMa and is attempting to make Pop Pop happy by saying PaPa.
It's so much fun to watch her try and put sounds together, and she's quite the chatty one! Plus, she's trying to get used to those crazy teeth she has in her mouth! She still only has the two bottom teeth, although, I have to assume those top ones are coming in soon! She doesn't really fuss about teething, seriously, we got really lucky with this little one!
If I can catch a video of her chatting away, I'll post!
