I went to two Dr's appts this week. One was for an ultrasound to check on the Placenta Previa, the other was my regular OB appt. The ultrasound showed that the placenta has not stretched away from its original location. What's funny about this is that the doctor's tell me that 90% of these resolve...of course...I'm in the 10%. That being said, the high risk doctor said that I need to deliver via c-section between 37-38 weeks. They do not want to take any chances that I'll go into labor as it could only cause complications. This came as a shock to me as we were already set to schedule the c-section for February 28th. When I went to my regular OB, she said they always go with what the high risk doctor's say and we scheduled the c-section for February 14th! What a great Valentine's Day that will be!!
The Bean is looking good, they are estimating the weight to be 5lbs11ozs at this point. Now, that's quite a bit bigger than Carmella was. I was at 33 weeks for the Bean's last weight estimate. At Carmella's 36 week weight estimate, she was 5lbs9ozs. So, even though I'm delivering the Bean 2 1/2 weeks early, I believe he or she will be bigger than our little Nugget was!
We tried to get some good face pictures in 3d, but the Bean wasn't cooperating, fists and feet in front of the face! Oh well, we'll get to see you soon!
